Q: When is the best time to go to Hawaii?
A: Anytime is a great time to go , as the weather is warm and tropical
year round. However, from February to May the weather is best, and
from November to January is the rainy season. Summer is usually
crowded, with fall and spring being the quieter times for travelers.
Q: What is the cheapest way to get there?
A: Pre-arranged travel packages are the best way to go for families,
groups and/or couples. The best prices are booked at least six weeks
in advance of travel. If you can, please avoid the holiday seasons,
when the prices are higher and availability is limited.
Q: Why is Hawaii such a popular vacation destination?
What is so special about these Pacific Islands?
A: First and foremost, Hawaii is affordable for most families and
couples. The islands are clean and beautiful, and English is the
main language spoken. The "Aloha" spirit and the slower, more relaxed
lifestyle are definitely attractive to most travelers and vacationers,
who are looking to "get away from it all."
Q: When I get there, what do you recommend
to see and do?
A: Oahu - definitely visit the Polynesian Cultural Center and attend
the luau there. Also not to be missed is the Magic of Polynesia
and the Don Ho show at the Beachcomber Hotel. Hawaii - visit the
volcano, and go golfing and fishing. Maui - take in the Hana Tour,
the Haleakala Volcano and go snorkeling and fishing. There are also
some great luaus on this island, too. Kauai - the Wailua River/Grand
Canyon tour, and the Fern Grotto.
Q: Where are the best restaurants and nightclubs?
A: No question - in Waikiki, on the island of Oahu.
Q: Where are the best water sports - snorkeling,
swimming, surfing, fishing?
A: Honolulu, Oahu. It is crowded, but is has the best beaches, North
Shore for surfing and Hanauma Bay for snorkeling.
Q: Where do I go when I want to get away from
it all?
A: Kauai is called the "Garden Isle" with good reason - it is a
beautiful and relatively secluded island.
Q: Where would be a good place to go for a
romantic getaway or a second honeymoon?
A: The Garden Isle of Kauai - with unspoiled beauty and magnificent
scenery, it is still private and secluded. This island also boasts
some of the best bed & breakfast accommodations in Hawaii.
Q: Where can I go to enjoy both relaxation,
beautiful scenery and still do some nightlife?
A: Lahaina, Maui, was once the whaling capital of the world. There
are some excellent restaurants, the old historic town district,
and nightly entertainment. Additionally, there is the magnificent
Napili coastline and Kaanpali Beach for swimming and relaxation.
Hawaii (the big island) has everything: lush rain forests, deserts,
snow on Mauna Kea, live volcano, golf courses, deep sea fishing,
horseback riding and black sand beaches. There is also entertainment
and nightlife in Kona and Hilo.
Q: Are the islands really that different fro
each other? Seen one, seen them all?
A: No, each island has its own character and flavor. We have clients
who go back year after year and always find something new each time.
Q: Does the legendary Don Ho still sing and
perform?
A: Don Ho is the icon of entertainment in Hawaii. This legendary
performer still sings nightly at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel.
